Rennie Parris - Brooklyn, New York Coordinator
Rennie Parris is the proud father of two young and amazing daughters that he’s raising as a single dad due to the unexpected and tramatic lost of his wife. Rennie joined Futhering Fathering and is currently the Brooklyn Coordinator where he conducts workshops for fathers and fathers-to-be on financial literacy, relationship development and management within their family. He’s assembled several panels containing subject matter experts such as lawyers, physicians, nutritionist and fitness trainers to educate and to inspire the men to take control of these areas of their lives.
Rennie graduated from Baruch College with an Bachelor in Business Administration (Finance). He also attended Zicklin School of Business where he received a Master of Science (Real Estate). He later attended Chartered Alternative Investment Association as a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Level II Candidate after successful completion Rennie then enrolled at Chartered Financial Analyst Institute where he graduated as a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Rennie is also board member of Guyana Youth Development Initiative where he has collaborated with fellow Guyana Youth Development Initiative board members, including the First Lady of Guyana, to establish a national program that is geared towards equipping the Guyanese young adults with skills to successfully obtain employment and establish and operate successful businesses. Also to partner with Food For The Poor to establish a feeding program in order to feed school age students nutritious meals. One of the goals is to help established a national after-school program to assist Kindergarten to 4th grade students excel in their technical and soft skills, which are key ingredients needed to become effective leaders.
Rennie manages to balance work, school, family and his passion to help create a better world by getting involved and leading by example.
